\n\u00ab\u00a1T\u00fa besas tu gato \u2013 qu\u00e9 asco!\u00bb \u00daltimamente estoy escuchando frecuentemente esta frase, especialmente aqu\u00ed en Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/span><\/p>\n

Estoy asombrada por la falta de comprensi\u00f3n de las personas acerca del amor hac\u00eda los animales, y aunque aqu\u00ed en Am\u00e9rica Latina los perros tienen un valor mayor (\u00e9nfasis en \u00abmayor\u00bb), los gatos no son vistos como seres vivos. \u00abBah, todos los pelos\u00bb y \u00ab\u00a1Pero el animal est\u00e1 sucio!\u00bb o \u00ab\u00bfAlguna vez has pensado en la toxoplasmosis?\u00bb. A menudo me enfrento a estos comentarios, que no puedo entender en absoluto.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aparte del hecho de que la toxoplasmosis s\u00f3lo ser\u00eda contagiosa si mis gatos salieran a la calle (vivimos en el piso 11), si realmente estuvieran infectados con la toxoplasmosis (por ejemplo por haber comido una rata infectada) y si finalmente yo me pondr\u00eda los excrementos de mis gatos en mi boca, entonces y s\u00f3lo entonces correr\u00eda el riesgo de infectarme con la toxoplasmosis! Adem\u00e1s, es importante considerar que los gatos generalmente pasan la toxoplasmosis s\u00f3lo una vez en la vida, luego excretan los \u00f3vulos del pat\u00f3geno una vez<\/span> y posteriormente desarrollan inmunidad. \u00bfCu\u00e1l es la raz\u00f3n de esta extrema diferencia, que por un lado los animales son maltratados y mutilados, y por otro lado mimados al m\u00e1ximo?<\/span><\/p>\n

Los animales son conscientes de que no son considerados equivalentes a los seres humanos en la mayor parte del mundo. No cuentan como criaturas leg\u00edtimas. A menudo se subestima que los animales tambi\u00e9n tienen un alma, al igual que nosotros los seres humanos. De la misma forma cada animal tiene una personalidad individual, con caracter\u00edsticas muy especiales que constituyen este animal. No estamos ahora hablando de instintos de caza de un perro, sino m\u00e1s bien de una descripci\u00f3n detallada de las caracter\u00edsticas que le dan al animal una personalidad, como por ejemplo estar resentido despu\u00e9s de haber sido rega\u00f1ado o la empat\u00eda y querer a consolar al humano cuando ese est\u00e1 triste. En consecuencia, los animales tambi\u00e9n tienen sentimientos y los interpretan y procesan de una manera similar a los seres humanos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Como est\u00e1 descrito en mi primer post, para muchas personas su animal es como su ni\u00f1o.<\/span><\/p>\n

Por lo tanto, es bastante normal sentir amor\/afecto por este peque\u00f1o ser, y tener ganas de acurrucarlo y besarlo.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 padres de animales no conocen ese sentimiento, cuando su peque\u00f1a bola de pelo le est\u00e1 mirando, llena de amor ilimitado, que deseas \u00abcomertelo\u00bb, porque es tan cursi?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfO no s\u00f3lo querer abrazar a la pareja para relajarse despu\u00e9s de un d\u00eda estresante, sino tambi\u00e9n sentir el pellejo brillante del animalito en la mano acariciand\u00f3lo y notar c\u00f3mo esta sensaci\u00f3n da alivio y paz?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfNo sientes un calor que se extiende alrededor de tu coraz\u00f3n cuando observas tu cosita dulce durante varios minutos mientras \u00e9l\/ella duerme, como su peque\u00f1a panzita se levanta y baja lentamente, as\u00ed como est\u00e1 enrollada tan inocentemente, y se contrae de vez en cuando porque \u00e9l\/ella probablemente est\u00e1 so\u00f1ando con un premio enorme?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00bfNo es todo eso una se\u00f1al que vemos a los animales equivalentes a los humanos?<\/span><\/p>\n

En oposici\u00f3n a los seres humanos, un animal te ama incondicionalmente, tal como eres, si est\u00e1s sudado del gimnasio o de mal humor. \u00c9l\/ella nunca te blasfemar\u00e1 o te aparecer\u00e1 como una \u00abserpiente falsa\u00bb. \u00c9l\/ella no te enga\u00f1ar\u00e1 y nunca te mentir\u00e1 (bueno, a veces \u00e9l\/ella te dice una mentirita, pero esto es ingenuo y no cuenta). Un animal nunca hace algo con mala intenci\u00f3n y nunca te quiere herir a prop\u00f3sito.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entonces, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 muchas personas hoy en d\u00eda ven a los animales como formas de vida inferiores? Cuando en realidad el alma de un animal es mucho m\u00e1s puro que de cualquier ser humano…<\/span><\/p>\n
